Top of the Pops

🎺 Aldbourne Band’s Top of the Pops concert went down a storm in Swindon on Saturday night!

🕺 The feel-good factor was high as the audience were treated to classic hits such as ‘Sir Duke, ‘Walk Like an Egyptian’ and ‘I Want to Break Free’ which featured a shredding trombone solo by Rob Marsh!

🎼In addition to playing virtuosity, the concert also showcased how multi-talented the band members are with premiere performances of Ed Latham’s arrangement of Toto’s Africa and David Richard’s’ transcription of ‘Crooner’s Serenade (a trio of Michael Bublé hits!)’

🤩 As always Aldbourne Youth Band wowed the crowd with their performances and some members even led the dancing to the YMCA in the finale!

🎶 A night to banish the January Blues, the band now looks forward to the West of England Area competition in Torquay on Sunday 10th March.
