Aldbourne Band plays to record crowd at finale of Festival at Prom on the Green 2018

Wow ! well what a fabulous 10 days of Music making with the Aldbourne Song and Music festival culminating in the Prom Concert on the Green on the 5th of August yesterday with absolutely stunning weather. Thank you Adam Cooke for your musical direction and rehearsals in very hot conditions ! . We thoroughly enjoyed your rehearsals and your great engagement with the large crowd !. We cannot think when we had such a big crowd supporting us. We would as a Band like to thank each and every one of you who came along and enjoyed the fabulous occasion. It means so much to us as a Band and really sets us up for the intensive work as we prepare for the British Open with David Thornton plus of course the Carnival Pond !. The Band thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the Music Festival with different Musical ensembles such as the Oompah band and the Paddling Dabchicks Brass Group. We also loved recreating once again the photo in front of the old Manor house dating from the 1890s. Thank you to all our supporters who worked tirelessly selling raffle tickets and manning the cake stall and for all the other work you do in supporting us ! we simply could not do what we do without your help !. A few photos over the last 10 days for all your to enjoy. Remember our next outing is the Carnival on the 1st of September with the Carnival Pond on the 2nd September conducted by David Thornton. Come and enjoy a lovely evening concert by the Pond on a Summers Evening, #Aldbourneband #Dabchicks #Pond2018 #Britishopen
